AP Human Geography (HuG)
Welcome to AP Human Geography! I hope your summer has been great! In order to get a jump start on this rigorous class this year, I'd like you to do a little bit of reviewing and reading before school starts. Please use the websites below to review your basic political and physical geography (locations of major countries and land/water features). This knowledge will be the cornerstone of your understanding of the concepts in my class. Also, I would like you to choose one full length article from any National Geographic magazine from the last year to read and review. Please download the Word format below to use for your article analysis. This will be due by Friday, August 21--at the end of your first week of school. If you finish it before school begins, please feel free to email it to me at kselander@dorchester2.k12.sc.us. This article review will be the first written assignment in your notebook this year.
